Our founder, Jacie Johns, has long admired the power of a beautiful design to transform a space. Over time, she discovered a special passion for lighting — not just for its function, but for the way the right fixture can elevate a room and express a sense of style. She believes lighting is the jewelry of a room — the detail that brings a space to life.

The name Beacon Hill Decor was created as a testimony of Jacie’s faith and inspired by the verse Matthew 5:14-16 — a passage that speaks of being a light and a beacon in the world. This foundation shapes the way she approaches her work: with purpose, integrity, and a heart for service.

As a former collegiate athlete and natural people-person, Jacie brings energy, dedication, and a thoughtful eye to every project — and is proud to be building a business rooted in service and genuine care for others. 

Dawn Johns is a faithful employee who has an eye for design. She has a talent for making your vision come to life. She has a gifted ability to see a space and transform it into something beautiful. Dawn has many years of experience with customer service which is why she excels in helping you find the perfect fixtures in your home. With her wisdom and guidance, we are blessed to have her apart of the BHD family.

With a hands-on, personalized approach, Dawn offers free in-house consultations to guide clients through what can often feel like an overwhelming process. She works closely with owners to ensure each light is perfectly chosen and expertly placed.
